Hi, I'm a new hero owner. I'm going to be taking a flight home for Xmas and I'm going to be watching a movie which I have loaded onto the device. I can't afford, though, to have the ph9ne going out of battery... so my question is will I be able to watch, say... an hour, maybe more of video and still be able to use it for a few calls after?

    Thanks guys.

If I remember correctly, you should get 5+ hours of video playback. But even if your battery dies, airports do have power outlets that you can use to charge it up real quick and make your "I'm here" phone call after you get off the plane.

I got 10% battery use per 40mins of video (sound through headphones)
I assume a movie would be around 30% of your battery.

You should be fine - Airplane Mode (lol) uses very little juice at all, so your battery should easily be able to cope.....I tend to find the data-network drains the battery the most....

I can happily report that I was able to watch 2 full length movies - about 3 hours of footage - without a dramatic dent in the battery. I was still able to play around with games and make phone calls on the way home.
