I am using the stock battery. I got up today at 3:30 am and by 11:30 am it was dead. I did spend some time on the phone but I made zero phone calls.... Is this normal?

What do you have syncing. Were you browsing or streaming?

Are you in a 3G or 4G area. How strong is the signal. I get my best battery life when there is a strong signal or no signal. If it is constantly finding &/or changing the signal, this chews up my battery. Also, Iam 3G mostly, but when I go into a 4G area, I find my battery life will decrease. I also use wifi as much as possible.

I get about 10 hrs on mine under moderate, mod-heavy use. 4G, GPS, sync for Gmail only on.

Go to market and get juice defender. The free version doubled my life. I do have the extended battery and with juice i get about 36 hours with moderate use

I also didn't like how things started out with my Bionic as per battery life, but I came across a page where the people who actually made the phone offered enough tips that I am now VERY happy with it.
I now can typically go two full days before putting it back on charge, but I go ahead and plug it in every night just to be able to start each new day with a topped off battery.

Consider this info below carefully, and longer battery life will come to you:

Def something draining your battery life, as mine has been for the most part terrific, even with heavy use. As I stated elsewhere, I was coming home from vacation, had my phone off the charger for about seven hours, headed for home with navigation immediately and still took another seven hours before I had to plug it in.

Then, the other day I forgot to charge my Bionic at night. Wound up going 25 hours before I changed out the battery, and that was with pretty heavy use.

Though, while I was on my way on vacation, I was able to kill the battery in four hours while traveling in and out of 4G areas. That fringe network stuff is a killer.
