What are you guys getting for it? Any special programs or toggles? I dont' believe this phone is worse than others... I am not used to 4g. But yikes, do you have it plugged in to the wall or the car at all times or what?

Less than one week on LGS and that is my only beef with it.

I am rooted and on Broken out. Thanks to all who helped.

Run wifi when @ home and you'll have considerably less consumption. I get 8-12 on LTE and up to 36 on wifi at home. Don't run widgets that auto update (unless the screen is on) and you'll save more juice.

Thanks. I'm grandfathered in data plan so I was 4g all the time trying to get my $$ worth, but I'll switch to wifi and see what happens. I do like how the LG UI turns wifi on automatically, it's nice little gadget in notification bar.

Same here, but cdma takes more juice than wifi and LTE is even worse. If you use an auto wifi app like the Verizon app, you'll save quite a bit of battery.

I don't use any power apps, just auto wifi to turn wifi on when I get within a mile of my house. If you control how your apps connect to the Internet, you can save more juice by keeping the phone truly asleep when not in use. Apps like greader can be set to only sync when opened, rather than on a schedule. I recommend doing so if you can.

Turning off data isn't usually a good idea because that means you won't get SMS or mms.

regular text work with data off, pics and vids just wont download. It will still recieve them, but you'll have to turn data or wifi on to download the mulitmedia. I pulled 48 hours like this.
