You're probably sick of seeing battery threads but I've yet to find one that actually has a fix. My problem is when I charge thr battery it either charges very slow or the battery drains, if I turn the phone on and off the percentage jumps upto around 50. I've tried battery pull and factory reset and tried other chargers. What else is there left to try?

Depending on the age of the battery... a replacement is something you have yet to try.

Have you tried another cable? The s3 is painfully sensitive to what it thinks is a damaged cable and drops the charge current as a safety thing

At my local Batteries Plus store, they have a machine that can test a battery to see if it needs replacing. I recently got a bag full of old "dumbphones" for my young children, and brought the whole bag in and we went through and weeded out the dead and almost dead ones.

    It's a free service, btw.
