Seems like both of my batteries for GS4 drain to 50% and then go dead. They never use to it. Any ideas on how to solve this kind of a problem. (It seems unlikely that both of my batteries have the same problem at the same time). Thank you.

The first thing you can try is to re-calibrate your phones battery chips which can go awry, particularly after an update. See #1.4 of

I did a battery calibration last night, after my 5 day old phone is draining for just about 5 hours of normal use. I drained the battery completely, and charged it to 100%. After that, I opened without using it for about 30 minutes, and charged it back until the battery was 100% recharged. So far, after 12 hours, the battery is ok at 20%. I know it is not yet so good, however, it is much better than what it was yesterday. It would have been easy for me to go back to where I bought it but still have no time. So I have to deal with it the way it is for the mean time.
