I have a Nexus 7 with a weak battery. I need to have a new battery but I don't want to leave it anywhere since all my passwords are in it. What to do? Pitch it and get a new tablet with a user replaceable battery??

    Hi and Welcome

If You mean passwords for websites you should be able to delete these using the privacy settings in your browser.

You could do a factory reset and wipe everything before sending it away. You should check that the repairer is not going to do this anyway! Backup everything before you hand it over.

If you are worried about banking apps etc. Uninstal them and wipe their data and cache from the app manager You can always put them back afterwards
