My brother and I both have LG Optimus V's; last night he failed to charge his phone so when he left this morning I gave him the battery out of mine. I assume his phone just discharged until it shut off. At first, it was blinking the LG logo and the four bottom buttons on and off, but now it just shows the "Battery Required" screen. I've triple checked the connection - the battery is installed correctly and the connectors are clean. Phone has been plugged into the charger for over 30 minutes with no change. Any ideas?

I never saw that notification, so I am not sure about that.

If the battery was seriously out of juice, it can take a while for it to register, but I would think the phone would knownit was *there.*

Is there any charging indication at all?

The battery sounds dead and needing replacement.

Amazon has good deals. I think the brand is Acer, or something close.

Batteries Plus has one, too, but is more expensive.

Make your brother gove you your battery back

I would contact virgin. They may send a replacement depending on the warranty.
