I recently upgraded the firmware on my 2-year old T-Mobile Galaxy S 4G to Gingerbread 2.3.6. I've been very happy with the phone, but since the firmware upgrade, I've noticed that every so often at seemingly irregular intervals, the battery seems to drain very rapidly. I'll get the low battery warning, the battery status indicator will indicate 0%, and sometimes the phone will shut down on its own. I'll plug the phone into one of the wallwart chargers either at home or work-the phone will be almost fully charged within 5 minutes of plugging it in. I don't think it's the battery itself-but I'm not ruling it out. Any suggestions?
