Battery swap with droid x?

Im assuming the batterys are the same size correct me if im wrong, but supposedly the droid gets more battery life and i would guess that would be because the battery is of higher quality?? so would ordering a oem droid x battery for evo help?

And another thing can anyone point me in the direction of this hard reset for better battery life. I keep seeing a few posts but i never seen a thread on how exactly this helps or how to do exactly if there any steps besides just hard reseting.

And whats he difference between reseting ur device this way How to hard reset the HTC EVO 4G - Know Your Cell
and reseting ur device or going through settings and reseting the phone

Droid X manufactured by Motorola. Evo manufactured by HTC. I can put down a 90% guarantee the batteries are either drastically different, or they're different enough to where they aren't inter-changeable.
