Can anyone let me know what is an acceptable range for battery temperatures?

Last night my battery temperature went from 20 degrees C up to 35 degrees C. The back of my phone was getting pretty warm so I turned off the phone and took the phone back off to let it cool. I noticed the temperature seemed to really spike when I increased the brightness of the screen.

Is there an app in the Market to help keep this under control?

Thanks. In the meantime, I've installed JuiceDefender to see if helps takes some of the stress off of the battery.

Ah I wouldn't worry too much about it. I've had phones that have gotten really warm and it never hurt them. Mainly my crappy Samsung FreeFail, oops I mean Freeform, that got roasting hot while talkin on it. Never seemed to bother the phone, although when the Freefail II came out I bought one and it was an even bigger failure (MORE firmware bugs than the original) and it never got warm, but the battery got AFU somehow and it would randomly decide it was charging, even it I was out in the middle of the woods nowhere near a charger lmao.

I see you have SetCPU installed. Do you have it set for on-demand or is the CPU cranked up to max all the time??
