So I have a battery app installed for my phone from the market, "Battery Life" by Curvefish, to be exact. It tells me the temperature that my battery is currently running at. Sometimes me battery can run rather hot. Hot enough that I can feel it in my pocket. I haven't been using my phone for an extended period of time or anything, but I'm getting concerned. The hottest that it's ever gotten was 112 degrees. Do I need to be worried if it stays hot like that for a long time? How hot is too hot?

You might have a bad battery. The fact that you haven't already taken it to the store is beyond me. (Not today, I mean, I know it's Xmas and all)

Min is at about 31 Celsius after some moderate internet surfing. You're probably having a problem and I would just exchange the phone if possible. If you need to just get a new phone, but you never know what type of damage may have already happened to your phone or if your phone is the actual culprit in the problem.
