I keep getting a message about upgrading my battery on my phone. I'm fairly new to using an Android and I suppose an upgrade could be good, but I've never bought any apps, all that I have added at this point have been free, so does anyone know how much it will cost to upgrade or is it a free app also?

    Welcome to the AndroidForums, pmslater.

    Huh...that's a funny one...

Can you tell us what Android device you have that is getting this message? Does it appear to be an ad in an app you are using?

Anyway, glad you signed-up with us here at AF.

    Cheers!

I'm running a game called "Dropwords" and it's an ad by "AdMobs", it's at the top of the screen and has the statement, "Your phone is slow". I just assumed it was to try and sell something, but as I stated before I'm new to Android use. I have an HTC by T-Mobile with G4.

Yeah, AdMob is one of the advertising arms / services that Google uses (and owns, I believe). I'm not sure I would pay too much attention to what an advertisement tells you re. the state of your phone (the ad and the API that serves it cannot know or tell anything about your particular device).

Anyway, I'm guessing you meant an HTC Evo 4G device? If that's right, check out your phone's home forum here:

HTC EVO 4G - Android Forums

If its not right ;), then search for your correct device in this page:

    Android Phones - Android Forums

    Cheers!
