Before I rooted I used to find I could get my battery charged to around 4179 mv or upto 4201 even. This seemed to give a `true` 100% on the battery. Anything lower and the battery would drop like a stone initially (I`m aware of the battery charge cutoff `feature` on the desire).
I rooted and went onto redux 1.2 rom. After reading other threads I reset the battery stats. Now the battery tops out at 4150mv. The battery then drops very quickly with initial use. I`ve tried every trick I know to get some more juice in to no avail. I dont know if its the stat reset thats done this.
Of course this may make no difference to the phone and the custom rom is givinhg me about an extra 2-3hrs use a day over stock, but I suppose after a year of learning how to max the life out of the desire`s battery I`m paranoid that I could be missing out on extra life.
