I read on a forum someplace (on the web!), that a Nexus 7 user was able to to make his Nexus only use like 1% battery every hour, (I think) and he was posting this on an Android forum saying that he will announce how this can be done later on. Has anyone heard about this? I've had a look at the regular forums I frequent but cannot find any posts

No chance with the screen on, sometimes the battery level gets stuck at 100%, I'd guess that's what he's seeing.

1% per hour is fairly typical. Lots of people are seeing 4 days of use out of their N7 which is rougly 100 hours. Depends highly upon your usage. Screen on time is the limiting factor and most are seeing 4 hours give or take 30 minutes.

Haven't seen or heard anything about that. I find the battery life to be great and I do a lot of reading on it.
