Help BBC Streaming Radio on SGII

Hoping that somebody will be able to help me with a very frustrating problem I am having with my Samsung Galaxy SGII.

I have been trying to listen to some of the BBC radio stations both directly from their website and also from the app that they made available but no matter what I try it never works. I get no error messages or anything but after clicking on the listen icon on the website the page refreshes and then just returns to where it was with no streaming content. With the app I click on the relevant icon and get a little timer indicator for a short while and then again nothing at all.

I am in the UK so it's not that I am trying to listen to something that I am not allowed to.

I can listen to it fine from an iPhone so it muct be something with the SGII that is causing the problem.

Any and all advice would be very much appreciated.

I'm guessing its something to do with the way your location is reported - I have a similar problem with the Lottery site. My guess is you'd somehow need to fake your location to get it to work

Try using tune in radio app i was streaming Radio 4 no problem in Bangkok.

Many thanks for the Tunein suggestion. I downloaded it last night and it works brilliantly
