Help Bbm notifications are annoying me

If I clear a new message notification it again pops up after sometime.
Iam running 4.2.2

You can't clear the notification. It's persistent, just not in the usual sense. You have to disable the persistent notification for BBM in the settings menu. If it still continues, your only other option is to remove BBM's permission to post notifications using Application Manager.

Thanks guys but I just want to know why it pops up again when I clear it from notifications panel.

If you go into the BBM settings, it says it will stay there unless you turn it off.

Iam talking about notifications for new message on bbm. I clear it but it comes again untill I read that message.

I haven't had that problem, but on the BlackBerry Z10 the BBM notification would only clear if I put my cursor in the reply box, as if I were going to send a response, but don't actually write anything. I wonder if this is the same sort of thing?
