Are there any hopes for the bootloader being unlocked? Without that, we have no hope for any custom roms or overclocking. This phone has HUGE potential but I'm growing impatient. I almost want to switch to my old evo again lol

Why does everyone keep saying we have an unlocked bootloader?
No you can't. It's not unlocked.

There's another one. All you do is run FASTBOOT OEM UNLOCK in fastboot
I don't think so.
Show me where it has been proven to work
It seemes after i made the thread and cooked up a cwm recovery that it might not truly be unlocked. You can fastboot boot the recovery just fine, but if you flash the recovery and attempt to boot into it you get a secure boot error.I am running CyanogenMod on my T-Mobile variant of the Volt which requires an UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER.

And the l90 d415 IS NOT the same. They use completely different aboot versions, the one on your phone does not have secureboot in the aboot. So when the bootloader is unlocked, its really unlocked.
So how can you say the F90 is bootloader unlocked based off the L90 when they're two different phones?

hey guys . got the volt from boost . cant find a recovery method so im flying blind . bricked a few phones so i know how to tread lightly . this phone is awesome . i feel the difference . i tinkered and boosted my 4g . 8 to 10 mbp and im almost a gb over my limit . usually like 'ketchep slow' but im having fun with it . feels unstable and freezes once a day but i dont mind (pretty sure the freezing is caused by something i did in device control app and i keep getting verification code calls for/from wasapp ? funny i tinkered with that in lucky patcher . feels like its got alot of loose ends too play with . im game . mine up for experimentation, anyone savvy enough ?
Since my post was removed I guess I'll restate what I last said in a nicer manner. Blondgod, the L90 and F90 are two different phones, they're similar but not the same and just because the L90 has an unlocked bootloader DOES NOT mean that the volt has an unlocked bootloader. I hope you understand now.
