why dont u just upload to sendspace? its a lot less complicated to get ur downloads. also, can u explain "removing boot"? what exactly does that mean?

the reason why i dont do sendspace is because it takes fpwn my file and what i mean by not boot is it disables the boot screens for faster boot times

You mean you removed the gratuitous boot animations? Nice. I do that manually to my phone anyway.

Download worked fine for me in Firefox. You'll need a normal browser, not too many features disabled/blocking of plugins/flash/javascript etc.

the entire process u go thru in uot IS changing the framework. the "framework" is the framework-res.apk and systemui.apk that u upload to uot.

lol..gotta love typos. anyway,i use sendspace now and have had files up for a long time without them removing them.

so have i. i put all my files on sendspace. they only remove them if they havent had a full download completed within a 30 day period.

I installed this ROM and it takes some getting used to but seems pretty nice. I did find some things I don't like about it, and some imperfections that need repair:
- The font might work on a 7 inch tablet but it's hard to read on the Venture's tiny screen. I replaced it with the stock ROM's font and it's readable again.
- Lists (such as notifications or selecting a ringtone) are not opaque enough; it's almost impossible to read list items.
- It has "Activate Now" nag screens just like stock ROM...I'm using this on an unactivated phone with no intention of activating.

Overall, though, good job! BeSmart launcher is interesting. That Zoom Camera is going on my main phone.

thats good to know drac. 30 days might become a factor with the three roms i have up as time goes by the downloads will slow naturally over time. i will need to at least do a download of all three once per 30 days just to keep them up for as long as need be or just move them to a more permanent storage host like fileden.

curtis, if u keep an eye on the email addy u used to sign up to sendspace with, they will notify u a few days in advance before they pull any of ur files, so u have a chance to go complete a full download before it gets taken down

Here's what I think is a Smart Launcher question: I installed "250+ Solitaire Collection" (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anoshenko.android.solitaires). Where in the launcher do I find it? It seems to have no category for games, nor is the app listed in any category I can find, nor on the flower. I can't even use the Search because that only works with the first letter of an app's name, and this app has a number.

If I open a list of installed apps in something else (like link2sd or ES File Explorer) I can run it from there, I just can't find an icon for it in Smart Launcher.

Reboot fixed it, now there's a games category with that one app.
