Help beep

The thread searching system is clever.
Didn't see an answer to my specific though.
On my old motorolas a reminder beep could be enabled for missed calls or received messages. Which was really useful. Is there anything that can be set up on the desire to do this ?

Not stock, maybe in an app? have you tired the market?

Haven't checked the app market. Bit bewildered by the choice. Suggestions anybody ?
