Alright guys, I got my Droid X a couple of months ago and rooted almost immediately with help from RoOoLeR and people on this forum but I haven't flashed a ROM yet. I see that it is possible to get gingerbread now and I would love to update to it. I have made a Nandroid backup and have all my apps backed up through Titanium. What do I do next?

I appreciate all the help with this beginner question.

All i did was google search gingerbread droid x. Find the ine that has root already. Dl it and place it on the root of your sdcard. Then use bootstrap to get into recovery and install zip fr sdcard, pick zip etc. You should wipe data and cache, atleast i did. There should be a thread on gb, i would read up a lil first.

I have the leaked gb and love it.

Good luck
