First of all I need to tell you that I DO NOT have a SAMSUNG, I have an alcatel. I was plagued by BeitaPlugin for about 3-4 weeks, I was determined to find a FIX.!! I used the bottom R-hand clear button to clear ALL the open screens, I would see the BeitaPlugin screen in the Title BAR.. I would tap on it & it there would 2 of all the screens that were opened. I thought it was a virus, malware etc..& I tried a couple of anti-virus or malware but they didn't help. I found 2 videos that helped. FIRST one I found is precautionary APP. The SECOND (10 mins.) gets rid of it & it explains everything you need to do.

I couldn't remember what I had recently downloaded. I found an app called "app history".
Downloaded that & deleted the Step app & that got rid of it

I deleted my favorite gesture type app, @TouchPal It was pretty good, better than Swift but the ads were getting more and more intrusive to the point of debilitating the devices. After scathing reviews, the only thing they would answer was to send a picture of the offending apps. I told them I had no time to deal with that kind of stupidity. What idiots!

Simple Black purple Keyboard theme by love cute keyboard. It hid the app button after installing and I had to go into the play store to find it to uninstall

Every app and game in the Play Store has a report button towards the bottom of the page, assuming that's where you installed it from.

And like all the others listed here, this "free", adware keyboard app comes from China as well.

another one here with a Smart Scan trojan horse on my wife's S9. What's interesting, she had that app for awhile, never an issue. The problem started only yesterday. Not sure if the app was recently updated or something else triggered it when my son was playing with here phone. Just removed that app, and so far so good (knock on wood).

You identify which app contains it (see suggestions throughout this thread) and remove that app.

Read through the rest of the thread. See whether any of the apps people have identified as containing this match any of your apps, and if they do try deleting them.

This is what worked for me. The BeiTa Plugin logo match the Smart Scan app I recently installed. Uninstalling it seems to have removed the plugin.

Mine went away after I uninstalled something called Relax music. I did notice that the fake plugin did have the same purple icon as the relax music and the pop ups were the same I was getting in that app. So just look for whatever app has the same icon as the beitaplugin and uninstall and then maybe restarted your phone.

I figured this out today. I have had the same issue for about a week. It is one little thing that got turned on. (This is mostly for people whose phones are systematically surrounded by their Google accounts.)

    1. Go to your system settings.
    2. Go to "Apps," "Apps Info," or "Apps & Notifications".
    3. Select the Google app. (Not Chrome.)
    (See attached photo.)
    4. Scroll down to "Advanced".
    5. Turn off "Draw over other apps" & "Modify System Settings"

That's all...this stops any third party that uses Google as it's information selling platform.

I had a similar problem but the app that had the same logo could not be found in app management or anywhere. I was really confused but then I opened battery usage and checked which apps were using battery, found the culprit and clicked app info from there to delete it.

I had downloaded a co-reader app which allowed me to scan items to get the price changes at a furniture store. I uninstalled it and the beitaplugin was gone.

Now the question is, is there a scan app that does not infiltrate our phones with this annoying plugin?
