Best aftermarket text app?

I am trying out GoSMS pro... so far i like it and the personalization features... wondering if you guys had any other suggestions that i might can try

Handcent worked well, very customizeable, but quite honestly the stock application with the APW widget works great and I went back to it.

The only thing I wish the stock txt app had was messaging groups. Deal breaker when you are a softball manager like me.

It supports Gmail contact groups. I use them frequently.

I use text plus. You'll get a new number but it's totally free and it has a lot of features I like including free voice texting. Only thing it can't do yet is picture text so I can't drop the verizon text plan just yet.

I also coach and send group texts and emails all the time. Just go into contacts, add a google group and you're good. Put the name of the group in the "to" field...good to go

Was a Handcent user, but switched to GO SMS Pro.
