Best aim for droid?

Hey. What is the best aim to use that stays online all day?

I tried ebuddy and meebo and I haven't been impressed

I don't mind paying for one. Which is the best?

Ive honestly tried every aim application in the marketplace and have been unsatisfied with them all. I wish we had trillian or beejive, or something of that nature...

I use Palringo as well and while it does log me off sometimes I like it very much because it doesn't require much memory to run and its not that demanding on my battery.

Also, most of the time when it logs you off it will automatically log you back on shortly after

ebuddy was recently updated for the droid, works great for me, especially compared to trillian on my computer specifically for fb chat, ebuddy kills trillian.

I like ebuddy as well, doesn't log me out like meebo and I like the set up. Works great for me so far.

ebuddy stays logged in all day long......doesn't drain my battery but I'm also always on wifi which is much less draining then 3g on the battery.

Yeah, in my opinion, Meebo is the best app out there, but recently every single user has been reporting frequent disconnects, so it's out of the picture for a little bit.

That said, I've used every single free AIM application out there and so far eBuddy is the best thing I've found (after Meebo pre-connection errors, of course). Unfortunately, it uses the butt-ugly speech bubble interface, but hey, what're you gonna do? :(

i wish other apps were like meebo on the super ultra clean simple layout. why is this such a hard concept for almost all apps?

i prefer meebo over all others as a multi messenger app, but it will kill ur battery faster, right now i just use hi aim for aim since thats what i use the most, i guess it depends if you want to leave soomthing running all the time. meebo really killed my battery life when i left it running all day.

Anyone like Nimbuzz other than me?

I use Nimbuzz because it displays the contact avatar and alias in the list and eBuddy does not. I am hoping Pidgin moves tot he DROID. I have all my contacts listed there manually with the aliases - regardless if the people set that up.

My only issue with Nimbuzz is the frequent "reconnecting"s. Ohh... and I can use multiple accounts of the same service (work created an account for me)

Meebo seems to be working as of now. I was having disconnect problems a couple weeks ago but now I get a disconnect maybe once a day if at all.
