Best alternative to 3g Watchdog?

I've used 3g Watchdog (free version) for the last few years and have always found it to be very good, but lately I've found it's being massively inaccurate.

For example, this morning I downloaded over 100mb worth of app updates from the Play Store, yet 3g Watchdog tells me I've only used 39mb on wifi?

Can anyone recommend some good alternatives?

When I was monitoring data I used LBE Privacy guard, didn't have any problems with it .. need to be rooted to use it. I did use 3G Watchdog in the past as well, perhaps it is just not updating right away? If I'm not mistaken it only records mobile data, and not wifi? Strangely, my network (Vodafone) have given me a 2gb wifi limit as well as mobile data....so I need to keep track of my wifi usage as well.

Yeah that does seem odd. I checked 3g Watchdog and that doesn't request that permission.
