I just got a tv cable for my droid inc, and was looking for a good media player to play my mkv files. There is unfortunately no mobile VLC; does anyone know the next best thing for android?

I like MoboPlayer for its features and UI.
Never tried ogm files on it though.

If your phone supports Dice Player it's the best player available for you - the only one I've found with proper hardware decoding (the others people have mentioned here are all good players but struggle with files that Dice Player manages perfectly on my SGSII/Galaxy Note and Galaxy Nexus). Unfortunately you can only get the trial version at present because Google has suspended their checkout account, they have had no communication from Google in several weeks about the reason for this. The devs mentioned to me that they are giving Google another week and then will look at other marketplaces like Amazon and SlideMe.
