best app for text files.

    Cant seem to find an app that lets me search/read my text files. tried es file manager but that didnt seem to want to know! This is for my guitar tabs. any recomendations?

    Try Office Suite 7. Reads text files (and other file types) and has a live search (highlights as you type the search).

    If they are plain text files .txt then ES File Manager should open them with ES Note Editor. If it doesn't then they are probably not text files but another format.

    Office Suite 7 may suit your needs but don't forget Google already provide you with a full office suite (Google QuickOffice) which does NOT require a purchase to edit files, as well as the cloud-based Google Drive.

    apparently that office suite only lets you view and edit existing files you cant create new ones but if you search for document creator you will find an app which is a word document creator and its free. got a blue W on the picture

    Google QuickOffice allows you to create documents, spreadsheets etc. as well as edit existing ones. I use it as my main office suite, plus it works locally or online with Google Drive.
