There are also a bunch of apps that turn your phone into a game controller with tilt and all that, or others that just act as remotes for various media players (Gmote does mainly this, but was included in the list above because it is quite flexible).

This app is clean and works really well as a remote mouse. I watch TV\Neflix on my wide screen TV and use it as a control. It uses Wi-fi so It lets you work from any distance you can see. I have also used gmote and really prefer premotedroid.

The setup was straightforward but lacks any real English directions so it was a bit tough. You need the client and server software. Be sure to enter the IP without the port # (the last 5 numbers on the IP after the colon).

I translated the french setup instructions on the wiki page-Here they are to save someone else the trouble.

Here is how to use my application:

My application is used to replace a wireless controller, a wireless mouse for example

It recovers on the Market. The first time it is launched, it displays help (which is accessible via the "menu" when one is in the application) Sorry, it's in English this time: P (how the current version is oriented "development", I have no time to devote to multiple languages at the same time)

For my application works, you must have wifi in your house, so that your phone can access your pc. Let your phone and your PC are on the same "LAN" So you temporarily disable 3G, and / or you activate your phone on wifi Your pc does not need to be wireless, just connected to your router / box

My application runs on a client / server: need a client software (the phone), and a server program on your pc to retrieve the server, go to "get server" will show you gonna Wholesale type a URL returning the http://192.168.0.xxx:64788 you in your web browser (Internet Explorer (boo), Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome) you gonna download a zip file you decompress the file in a

Now we start the server The server is done in Java, so you'll need java on your PC Normally you already, but you can download it here: If T
