I have used Titanium Backup for years and it has been useful. However, for the past few months, the backup to Dropbox feature is no longer working. As such, I really need to consider another app.

I use the backup primarily for safety - have only ever restored once or twice. I really want an app that can backup to the cloud - either a device on my LAN or Dropbox. What app would you recommend and why? Thanks.
Are you using the paid or free version of Titanium?

Last time I used Titanium was 7 or 8 years ago, back when I had a rooted phone.

I was big fan of Titanium Backup but at this point it doesn't appear to be actively supported. The last update goes back to 2019.
Android versions continue to get released annually, with changes not only to the user interface on top but significant changes underneath (file system, partition tables, etc.) Add in Dropbox updates its app quite frequently so it's not surprising when Titanium Backup functionality issues start to creep in more and more.

I used to use TB but, as has been said, it's seems to be no longer supported. I swapped to Swift Backup ... ... and all is fine with the backup world once more ..... :)
nice.....gonna have to try this.

@groston i would still look into getting a custom recovery since you are rooted. having twrp installed is a very useful tool and every rooted phone user should have one. it should have been your next step after rooting the phone. having a nandroid backup is very important. a nandroid backup is a complete backup of your phone. if you mess up or something goes wrong, as long as you can get to your recovery(twrp) and have a nandroid backup, you can flash your recovery and it will like being back before anything happened. it is kind of like a save point in a game. if you mess up in your game, you can just go back to where you last saved the game.

so even if swift backup as suggested by @dvhttn , i would still get twrp setup and make a nandroid backup asap.
