    Hello,

I'm looking for recommendations for your favorite bar code reader app. Thanks.

Just for converting barcodes? Or for shopping? As a pure barcode scanner, I like...well, Barcode Scanner.

It works. Want anything else in particular?

No, nothing else. I've never used one before because my old Eris just couldn't handle it, so I had no idea where to start.

    Thanks!

Sweet, another Eris user that came to the DInc2!
I sense a theme among those with taste :D

Funny - I used several bar code reading apps on my Eris without a problem. Shop Savvy is cool for price comparisons, and Google Shopping (or is it Shopper?) is good too.

My Incredible 2 should be here in a day or two. I'm using a Droid 1 now because it does video better than my Eris but it's not stable like my Eris is.

Then you should dig the Incredible2; it's like a perfected Eris.
