Hi I am looking for a really good battery app that will really help save a lot of battery power. Most of the apps ive seen all have a downfall and some apps just drain the battery level quicker than before. Im not too bothered about other features it may have e.g. volume control. If it does have other features and its not killing the battery because of it then thats fine. Can anyone recommend me to any, please?

None. Having an app to control battery usually makes it worse. Turn off a few things like data, gps, use wifi when low 3G signal, turn screen brightness lower and screen timeout shorter.

Yeah I usually do all that including have the brightness low and I still feel like I can get more from my battery power. I have an external memory card but all my apps have been installed on the phone, could the battery be affected by this? I do have a lot of apps installed and hopefully will be installing the app2sd (app) so that I can transfer all the apps on to the memory card.
I've even got a standard wallpaper back ground and not live.

Get juicedefender; take the time to set it up properly.

I'm using the droid 2 global.. I liked it enough to pay 3.xx for the paid version so i could mess with all the features... I mean I 'think' its helping alot..Ive never really ran my phone with it off so. Its atleast worth a look and try the free version

Actually I'm going to leave downloading the juice defender since I looked at the reviews for quite a few people they get problems even after uninstalling the apps like the web stopped working after 2-3 minutes in using it.

I had that problem using Green Power; when I would turn the screen back on, it wouldn't usually turn 3g back on. Since getting Juice Defender Beta, it has worked every single time, and I'm getting great battery life out of it since installing it.

    I'm on Evo 4g btw.

I like JuiceDefender. If you want to use the web just disable Juice Defender. Made a huge difference in my battery life.
