I am a current Sprint customer eligible for an upgrade. If I do it via Best Buy, and i'm not happy with the EVO, can I still take advantage of Sprint's 30-day guarantee?

Yes, Once the phone is returned to Best Buy, you will get a full refund and your contract will be reset and upgrade date will be reset.
I am not aware of the 100 dollar credit promotion for Sprint at this time. ATT and Verizon have offered that in the last few weeks. But if they do and its like the others then no. You will pay 199 in store then receive a 100 dollar credit on your bill.
Well this is frustrating.
I just called my local Best Buy, to see if they happened to know the "ineligible for upgrade yet" full price. It seems that they're NOT accepting Pre-Orders for the Evo UNLESS you are eligible for an upgrade or a new line activation customer?!
BOOO!!!
Stickboy46 - Any way you can confirm this?
Hmmm... might have to resort to Radio Shack then. Bugger.
54.something.
One oddity is that I did NOT get a gift card because something wasn't setup in their system yet.
They gave me a copy of an EVO-themed sheet which had my name / phone number on it and a receipt for the 54 bucks. The receipt had an "EVO Preorder" item on it, and I was told that when I came in to pick the phone up, that money would be refunded to me and I would then pay the full 200.
I'm a little confused if you pre order from bb how much is it? And why do they give you back a 50 gift card? Also is it better to pre order from best buy and do they honor in store debate or wull you haft to mail it I know y'all probably answers all of this its hard to under stand thoe thank you
Is there an advantage buying BB vs. Sprint store?
Or is there not a Sprint store near you that BB is your only option???
Is BB a liazon?
Until there is an EVO SKU in the system i have no way of confirming an OUTRIGHT price yet. Though looking at the other phones just figure about 200 dollars more.
As far as them not taking pre-orders for ineligible?? I would venture to say thats a managers decision. He/she is probably trying to save the EVOs for sales that will make the most profit. I dont remember reading anything that says only qualified upgrade or new. But i will check when i work again.
BB doesn't require you to mail in a rebate. Its instant. And also BB is the only place taking pre-orders right now apparently.
Yes that is correct. Thought are you on a single line or the primary on a family plan ?Hey I've never preordered a phone, so maybe you can help me out with this...
Already have Sprint, I'm a little over a year into my 2 year contract, thus Im eligible for the $75 upgrade discount if I renew the 2 year contract. Will I be able to preorder the EVO at Bestbuy? And from the sounds of it, I'm gonna have to pay $525 ($600-75)? Is that right?

What I would recommend is to call sprint and go ahead and change to the Everything Data plan. Then ask them to push through your premiere status. You have to switch to everything data anyways for the EVO and the premier status will change your 1 year eligibility into a full rebate so you can get it for 199.Single line, why?

anybody know the out-the-door price for Best buy in CA? i was under the impression that in CA we are taxed on the full MSRP of $5xx so in the Bay Area that is close to $100 of tax for two phones...can somebody confirm or deny this? thanks
Oh god. I hope we aren't taxed on the full price of the device...
Wait, Sprint still charges tax do they not?
