Best Buy starting to ship soon

My Best Buy Order Status changed from backordered to:

Order Status: 1 item(s) - Order in process of being fulfilled; Usually ships in 1 - 2 days


Just wanted to let you guys who ordered through them to expect them to ship out right after Christmas I guess.

FWIW, I placed my order there Dec 2nd after my Amazon pre-order was cancelled "by accident".
 
My Best buy preorder has not changed, still showing backordered. My Amazon order still says Jan 12th. What color did you order from BB?

I might have got lucky and got a champagne one from Newegg about 30 minutes ago. I'm just waiting on the tracking number.

I got a 32g Grey one.
 
My BB order changed to Order in process of being fulfilled; Usually ships in 1 - 2 days also! Better late then never. I orderded Dec 2nd after Amazon cancelled.

My 32gb gray was back ordered yesterday, and today it apparently shipped, got a tracking number and everything. Have "Express" delivery on it so I assume it will be here Tuesday of next week.
 
I just got a tracking number from Best Buy for my 32GB Grey. I too also ordered Dec 2nd after my "accidental" cancellation from Amazon.
 
Nowinstock.net just txt'd me saying there was some in stock from Best Buy and jumped online and ordered one..

Email I just got says :
Estimated Arrival: 12/29-01/03/2012
 
Just got an email from BestBuy cancelling my Champagne Order and Offering to switch my order to the Amethyst Gray. I really think I'd be happier with the Champagne color, but Who knows when I'll actually get it. Gotta think about this.

I got the same email, but since I got extremely lucky this morning with Newegg, I cancelled my BB order. I like the Champagne too.
 
So I called BestBuy and the CSR I spoke with didn't seem to think it gave me any priority in line if I switch my order to the Gray, It be the same as if I canceled the champagne order and re-ordered it myself on the website. So I didn't go for it.
 
I gave in and switched to the grey. My wife just received the grey and it looks pretty good. To me it wasn't worth waiting as long as a month for it just due to a color preference.
 
I just pulled the trigger on the grey at BB. I selected expedited shipping, and it is estimating arrival on 12/28.

Interestingly enough, I used my Amex card, and about a minute after I submitted my order Amex emailed me and thanked me for using my Amex that I linked to their "Like us on Facebook" promotion and they'd be giving me a $10 statement credit for my BB purchase. I guess that partially offsets the expedited shipping charge of $17. :)

I'll post when I get my tracking number.

I had preorders with expansys for a 32GB and with Amazon for 64GB. But I went ahead and ordered from Best Buy. I will receive my Transformer Prime on the 27th!
 
i cant even find it on BB site, only champagne

nvm found it using google

EDIT, placed my BB order with expedited shipping, and also cancelled my Amazon order.

Jesus this is nerve racking
 
Got the email about switching colors too, so i took the grey.

Anyone have any idea on the docks?

I placed an order with Amazon, but i have a feeling ill find one before the estimated arrival of 4-7 weeks.. hopefully..
 
OMG, thank you SO MUCH for posting this! I got one ordered with expedited shipping with an ETA of 12/28! Guess this solved the dilemma of color choice for me, but overall, the gray does look pretty awesome, even hardcore anyway. Shall get the Champagne model for my mom...once it miraculously becomes available, and cancel the Amazon order.

Thanks to paying for overnight air, I received it today about an hour ago. Still getting use to this thing but so far not noticing any problems with it. It came with the battery at 4 percent charged, but still pretty sweet device.

WiFi range and GPS seem alright?
 
Battery took about 3 hours to charge, gps locked instantly to exact location in google maps, wifi is on par with my galaxy nexus. There was a firmware update upon first boot up so maybe that fixed the issues before I noticed them.
 
Kind of strange ! I had a pre-order in at Amazon for the 32GB gray with the infamous delivery date of something like Jan. 27-Feb. 8th. Noticed some people were ordering from bestbuy and getting shipped to next week...................so I go to BB, do a search "Asus Transformer Prime" and get the result of the champane 32gb "Pre Order" ! So I figured well they're out of stock again, but being the persistant sob I am, I go to the ASUS website and click pre-order there and a list comes up with:
Bestbuy
Amazon
Tiger Direct
B&H

So I click BB and walla..........theres the gray 32GB buy now........so I cancelled Amazon and bought at BB and will be delivered next week !

So what gives when searching BB's site, nothing to be found, yet using the asus backdoor .....there it is ?:eek:
