best COMBO for Modem, Kernel, and ROM?

hello guys can you plEAse share it to our co-forums what combos do you have and how do you like it. especially the battery life. thank you.

Battery life is very dependant on how the handset is configured and used, local signal strength, ratio of mobile data vs wifi use, how custom kernels are tuned.... IOW what works for one person may be useless for another.

The best source of information is probably in the various ROM-related threads, where users often discuss such things at length.
