I've just seen Music Hero & it looks interesting if a bit lacking in options/visually bland.. was wondering if there's anything better before I download..? preferably something with the option to add your own music.

Thanks.

Have you tried tap tap revenge 4? It's a killer! :D

Thanks for the suggestion.. it's certainly much better presented, but I'm afraid that 'music' makes me want to bash my brains in with the nearest blunt object.. you can't use your own music with it ..right?

I've also just been looking at Cytus which looks great.. but again that music.. uggh!
I'm guessing the reason you can't use your own music in these games is they want to charge you for using theirs.. but surely an option could be incl to do so, I'd gladly pay whatever price for that option.

Yes I know. The music is just some generic mtv stuff which is quite horrible indeed.

Exactly. They make you pay for better music. I think there is definitely a demand for the app that lets you import your own music, analyzes it and creates a tapping pattern according to the beat. Please let me know if you find this kind of app (before I develop my own :)).

I've always thought that Audiosurf would be the perfect fit for Android devices (especially tablets) but apparently because it uses a bespoke game engine it's unlikely ever to happen.
I agree though there is definitely a significant prospective audience out there for this type of game, everyone I know would love something like this on Android.
If there is something similar on ios perhaps the Android community can request a port..?
