Best HTC Desire Car Kit

Just wondering what CarKits people are using with the Desire and how they find them?

I'm using a bury bluetooth cc9060 which is a great car kit but isn't completely optimized for android

on the plus side - it downloads your address book and has excellent voice recognition - the call sound quality really is crystal clear

on the minus side - the music player (and voice navigation) wont play over the car speaker system (even though they should using A2DP)
it is unable to read back texts (it can do on sybmian)

the music playback is a deal breaker for me and I'm going to start looking for another car kit -

how about the rest of you? what are you using? and how do you find it?

thanks for the replies guys

@el_caro I looked at the S4 -it's pretty sweet but it doesn't have a built in o voice dialer (problem for android phones and a a dealbreaker for me)

@philarmer the sony looks pretty cool - but I have a built in entertainment unit in the car and it'd look wrong if i put in a 3rd party car stereo

but they're both good options -I hope they do what you need them to do

cheers eske

Well i have my Blueant S4 and it is awesome for what I want. I have hearing loss but the calls are so crystal clear it is far better than using the phone directly. The commands are clearly understood - mind you this is Aussie kit and I am an aussie. It pairs so quickly and easily - I turn the unit off when i leave the car for a prolonged period and it immediately pairs as soon as i turn it back on (provided the Desire screen is turned on).
It plays music throught the S4 but really that is not good quality sound compared to a car stereo and I would never use it.
It announces callers by name who are in my contacts list.
It announces that my emails and sms messages have arrived.

My understanding is that the latest version of Vlingo allows sms and email text to read out by the Blueant S4 and also allow voice dialing to contacts(I think you have to have Android 2.2 upgrade). I am still on 2.1 and the vlingo beta version of 1.3.0 I tried did not seem to have the settings available to make it work.

I picked Blueant S4 one up on eBay for $69 (used once only) and am over the moon with it and would say it is the best bluetooth I have ever used by a country mile.

I just bought Blueant S4 yesterday and would like to have the Voice Dialling feature, my phone tells me I have 2.1 installed and their is no new software available? I would like to download 2.2 - why is my phone saying no new software available?
