What do you think is the best looking console game?
My vote goes to Uncharted 2.
GOW3, no contest. I threw U2 in yesterday actually and was surprised how it pales in comparison to GOW.
KZ2 still looks pretty friggin sweet though.
I would vote, but there are some issues with me voting...
1. I would only vote for a game I liked...
2. I have never played any of these games...
lol no vote for me :/
You are deprived
When it comes design alone, I would say Final Fantasy 13 graphics and visuals, Heavy Rain story telling style of visual experience and I'd toss in MW2 Campaign for map layout.
lol, nah. I really only play FPS (hate 3rd person), and RTS.
i loved the God of War 3 design better than uncharted 2.
one game i wish was on the PS3 for the future is Gears of War 3, the graphics look great ont eh new trailer but will the 360 be able to perform
What kind of statement is that? Why would they bother putting the game in production if it couldn't perform? Lmfao.
Mate, read up on the consoles there before you say that lol.
There is tons of comparison video's where you what ps3 and xbox 360 excel at, saying one console will not perform is bit eek to be honest. When basically both of strenght and weaknesses when it comes to hardware in it.
Yep yep, stole the words from my mouth. Something else to note was that when big games were multiplatform they did cross checks on performance to see which looked better, played better, etc.. and neither were better than one another. The only big thing PS3 has over the 360 is blu-ray (which I could give zero shits about) and it's failure rate which is rather miniscule compared to 360.
Heavy Rain has the best "gameplay" graphics IMO, keeping in mind that "gameplay" is really a cinematic you can control.
Honestly, the games coming out for consoles are at their peak graphically speaking. It's all down to how well a game is optimized for the console. A good example, I feel, is the new Battlefield. It runs better, and with more graphical detail, on my computer than does my 360. Either developers are finally hitting the wall, or they're looking further and further beyond what cookie-cutter components can do. I've noticed it with several games that have been released on PC as well 360 and PS3. Dirt 2 happens to be one of these, as does most of the new games hitting PC's.
there really is no comparison to FF XIII..
Uncharted 2 / God of War 3.
