I actually tried one on my Droid 2 at the Verizon store and I didn't like the way it fit at all. The rep said she probably wasn't even going to sell it because of how poorly it fit.
I bought one from verizon, Its leather, fells nice and has a little kickstand. I like it. also best buy has some too. Should we post screen protectors also?
Verizon also sells a silicone gel one (different from the Body Glove). its nice, flexible and would think it would offer decent protection from drops, etc.
When i had my eris and also my BB's id use the hard sleeves like body glove or whatever and dump that into a holster...being a mechanic i tend to be a great stress tester for equipment
the holster/shell combos so far seem to offer the best protection for these phones that iv'e seen personally and i've used most of hte options. Body glove would be a great case if it didnt leave the screen facing out.
I purchased the snap-on hard purple case when I picked up the phone. I find it's noisy and gets in the way of pushing buttons and with typing on the top row. Most hard cases, do you think, will be the same?
I think my clear snap-on case permanently lifted my phone off the slider. It slides no where near as tight as it used to and I can push one side up a centimeter at a time without pushing the other up.
