I like Smart Keyboard just because sigh* I like the iphone skin because the keys seem a little more spread apart for me.

I was bored so I tried Smart Keyboard. So far, it's excellent! I NEVER used the physical keyboard on the Droid, and it's EXTREMELY RARE that I've ever used the virtual keyboard in portrait view. But the portrait keyboard with the iphone skin on Smart Keyboard is VERY good and I'm actually using it now!

It's also really easy to switch back and forth from Smart and stock keyboards. (Just longpress in the typing area.)

I'm gonna try it out for a couple of days before I buy the Pro version (gotta have autocorrect and predictive text).

    Thanks for the recommendation!

    Swype, hands down.

It's perfect for touchscreens where you don't have to tap tap the screen.

Well, Swype isn't really in the same category, and it can't be found in the market.

I really liked the HTC(forgot the full name, was ripped from the Incredible or Eris, forgot which) keyboard...Loved it a lot better than Swype. I have to download again when I get the chance.

I like the Smart Keyboard except that you have to pay to get spelling fixes.

I just installed the Smart keyboard and after about 5 minutes upgraded to Pro. Adding the predictive text to the physical keyboard might make me use it more.
