Planning on getting an SGS3, but I've sorted a decent deal with Vodafone for a 12month SIM Free contract, so I just need to sort out getting the phone now.

I'm guessing everywhere is going to

    Ok thanks.

That's a cracking deal you've got there, i'm guessing it's a legacy deal you've made them stick to over the years?

Personally if I were you. I'd wait awhile.

Let the phone fashionistas pay their money out first, then watch the price dive down to around the

That is a consideration. I'm still running a HTC Desire which is coming to the end of the 24 month contract it came with.

The counter argument to what you're saying though would be that look how quickly HTC sorted out the bugs/glitches with the One-X. Different company obviously, but given it's Samsung's major phone they're going to want to make as many inroads as possible by the time the iphone 5 is announced.

Additionally the price isn't that big a deal. I can't see it dropping anything considerable for at least 6 months, or at least until the iPhone 5 is released. Taking into account my 12 month SIM free contract, if I run with that for another year as well it's going to cost me

So wait until ~June when the IP5 is expected to be officially announced/launched, you can bet there will be a counter move by Samsung to make the SGS3 more attractive than the IP5!!!

All you really need to remember is the consumer is king. If they ask too much then just say no way & walk away.

I did that to both Comet & Curry's/PC World and bought from Amazon. Saved me

I spoke to Carphone Warehouse today, and they said that my local store (a big one in a major town in the south west) would not be opening late. My pre-order will be available on the 30th.
