as the title says, I am looking for the best place to trade in old video games. gamestop is easily the biggest rip off. a few of the games im looking to trade are Forza 3, Fifa world cup Final fantasy 13, and Oblivion. I think gamestop was going to give me 30$ for all of those.

ive had too many bad experiences with craigslist. scams to counterfeit money. if theres no other options id prefer to just go the gamestop route.

i had a bad experience with craigslist, ended with two guys almost being shot when they tried to take my ps3 with a knife in their hand instead of paying me for it...

best buy is supposed to be doing trade in's i think. o_O

A knife? I know exactly how that situation would have ended for them if they only brought a knife and made an advancement with it. Idiots.

Craigslist is good, just make sure to meet inside a well lit public place.

I am with Rota.. CL is best if you want the most money. Meet in public places, accept cash, and make sure to check the cash before giving anything up. Gamestop and best buy bend you over so bad on used games.

Any time I've sold something on Cragslist, I've met inside of a popular Starbucks. Once the transaction is done, I sit down, drink my coffee, and wait until the other guy is gone for about 15 minutes before ducking out. For my own peace of mind I always have a gun on me and/or at least one friend in case for some ridiculous reason something goes downhill. Better safe than sorry when meeting people on the internet. So far, no issues whatsoever.

I traded some games for credit at amazon.com Gamestop does not give enough but i understand why.

I like how Amazon works, although on older games you won't get much. It's free to mail them in though.

How much will amazon give you for a used game that is only like a month old?

Meh, I have like 50+ games for my 360 but I have no desire to trade them in. I kinda like building up the collection. Makes up for when I threw away all my older console stuff.

All these companies rip you off anyways so it's not worth wasting time/effort over.

    Somewhat agree with the hitman.

    CL for me otherwise.

Assuming it hasn't been traded in en-masse it wouldn't surprise me if you got $40+...compare that to Gamestop's $25-30 and there's no contest.
