    Hi,
I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy Nexus in Australia and am looking at getting a phone case for it. I've had a bit of an internet search but can't find anything very conclusive on the most decent cases.

Basically I'm looking for the best protective cases to minimise the damage impact on my phone in case I drop it. I'm also a little bit of a typical girl and am biased towards good-looking (maybe colourful) cases if possible.

Any suggestions would be great :) thanks!

Otterbox Commuter is the best but it only comes in black.

Most protective would be the Trident Kraken / Otterbox Defender

I tried the Otterbox Defender. It has great protection but the front plastic dims out the great display and it is bulky. I like the Verizon generic case with the belt clip but the protection is not nearly as good as the Otterbox Defender.

I like my Seidio Active. I think it comes in a few a couple of colors. They also have the Convert which is two cases in one. Try doing a search (towards the top right) for cases. There are several threads already. That's what helped me decide.
