Any suggestions on a one stop RSS reader. Preferably with Google reader sync.

You could try FeedR. I think it's 5 bucks though.

FeedR. I've been loyal to this app since I e-mailed the dev on Christmas Eve with an issue and he rolled out an update on the same day.

Does feedr have a 4x4 widget?

No, it's a 1x4 widget, thought you can have multiple 1x4 widgets, all with different feeds.

Honestly, with FeedR sent to poll for updated feeds and send a notification when it finds one or more, I found the widget to be superfluous.

I am also on the quest for the perfect RSS reader that syncs with google reader. (I'm a developer by trade, maybe I'll just write my own). I have feedr and newsrob both currently and both have issues. NewsRob doesn't find all of my unread articles. I can login to google reader and see articles that newsrob didn't show me. Today feedr is telling me I have over 700 unread articles though I have 3 according to google reader. It also takes about 4x longer to sync feedr vs newsrob. The hunt continues...

sorry I need 4x4. I just want to move to a homescreen and check all recent headlines. It's not a difficult concept. multiple 1x4 is really no substitute, and notifications are not at all what I want.
