I read in another section (Hero I think), that someone replaced the default SDHC card with a Class 6 card, and saw 400% speed improvements... a) Can the myTouch use Class 6 cards (if not, how high?) b) What is the maximum speed card it supports (not class)? c) anyone gone faster - seen a difference?
Class 2 = 2mbps Class 4 = 4mbps Class 6 = 6mbps If your device supports SDHC, it should support any class. I did noticed my device being snappier especially with media stuff.
Class 6 ... write speeds are rarely shown by the memory card makers... Class 6 is the fastest ... there is no Class 8.
Then I guess that means I have to ask another question... In the docs it says it's a 2.0 compliant SD slot... Is that SDHC? Or does that default back to SD.
2.0 compliant generally will mean that the device will handle up to 32GB what ever the speed is ... 32GB micro are rare a to non-existent in the US ... reported to be in the Far-East.
