    I have tango but was wondering if you guys had anything else in mind. I use to use yahoo IM but it's not supported on honeycomb. Any suggestions?

    Hmmm... My suggestion of this is you must try to use Skype.

    AFAIK skype still is not supported on honeycomb for video chat.

    I made the exact same mistake. I still swear it wasn't there when I made the thread about it :p

    Also for google talk users, does the desktop end that I am chatting to over video need to download anything to get it to work or us it a browser application?

    I ask because the people I chat with have iPhones and Skype and I don't think they would want to download another application and they will already probably have to make a Google account just to chat with me lol

    Most people already have a gmail account, they can just connect with that.

    As for software there are a couple of options. They could install a client or there is a browser plugin that would eable video chat from gmail. I use it all of the time and it works well, even has echo cancelling that Skype doesnt have, which is great when chatting on a smal laptop where the speakers and mic are close to eachother.

    How do you get Tango to work without giving them a phone number?

    You can use any second phone number, even a home line
