So I am creating a app that will basically work like this

    I go on my app
I have a search field or some other type of text field
    I search for "Cats"
The app goes to the internet and finds pictures of cats
pulls them into my app and displays them in a gridview

My question is, how would I access the internet from my app through some sort of search field

I made another post about this aswell

    A couple of points:-

    1. You can't develop a native Android application in C#. There are cross language possibilities, but I'm not familiar with them
    2. Your solution will involve using a lot of Javascript anyway
    3. You could become more familiar Java. The syntax is very similar to C#. If you know one, you basically know the other.

So what you are saying is that I can follow along a Java guide and it will apply to my project? So it wont corrupt if I use both Java & C# int he same project?
