I've seen some methods, but none are specific to the N5. I'm rooted, with a 5.0.2 rom, however, i've been offered some serious money if i will bring phone back to stock, but leave it rooted. I guess that i can unroot, and then reroot, but i was wondering if there was an easier method. Thanks for any help.:p

you could always flash a factory image and then re-root it.

OK., but wouldn't i have a better chance of deleting all the little "rom extras", if i completely unroot, and then root?

Factory images will return you fully to stock. It will remove everything. I would back up your internal storage to a PC then flash the images and wipe the whole phone. Then transfer any internal storage that you want back to the phone.

If you have just the stock ROM maybe. Everything you have on the device even if you take it off will leave some kind of footprint. Seriously to return to stock the best way is to flash the factory image. And as Brian pointed out make sure you backup everything before doing so.

Wug's rootkit can do this for you too... can go back to total factory image, like you just took it out of the package.
