I need to unroot my 2.3.4 Atrix before sending to Motorola for warranty covered repairs. It's rooted using the instructions found on briefmobile.com/motorola-atrix-4g-root

From what I've read the best way to go about unrooting is by following the steps below. Is this still the recommended method?

Just want to let people know the above method of unrooting worked for me. Motorola repaired my phone under warranty without asking any questions.

A factory reset will not unroot.
You either need to reflash the stock ROM or remove all traces off the root like above.

You know, I found out I could be wrong about my factory reset statement. Has anybody testing that out by chance?

I hate to be such a noob but can someone possibly post more detailed instructions on how I can unroot my Atrix 4G? I bought the phone used and found out the bootloader is unlocked so I'm assuming the previous owner rooted the phone, now I am unable to install the latest Android update. I have absolutely no experience with rooting a phone and don't feel really comfortable doing it. I don't even know what Android Terminal Emulator is or what any of these instructions actually mean. Is it all possible I'll even be able to do this myself seeing as I'm clueless?
