    Hello Forum -

Are there any wine applications that you would recommend? I am looking for some combination of wine information, inventory, ratings, recomendations. So far I haven't tried any apps yet (I am a new Android user).

Thank you in advance for your help! Cheers

Wine by the Bar: This App's moto is Sip, Scan, Share. You can find locations to bottles, write reviews, and share them

Swirl: if you have been to the website snooth.com, than this app is basically the mobile version of it

For those of us who want a comprehensive wine app, Natalie McLean just released her new app Natalie McLean's Wine Picks to the Android Market. This is a stellar wine app with features that include:

    1) pair wine with food based on choice of food, wine or occasion
    2) scan a bar code on a bottle to get wine reviews and merchants who sell it
    3) create your own wine cellar database (registration required)
    4) read pithy wine quotes
    5) check out recipes for dishes to complement your wine

The iPhone version of the app has gotten very good reviews and I expect the same for the Droid version. It has an intuitive interface and runs flawlessly on my Motorola Droid 2 and my wife's HTC Incredible 2. I also have it loaded onto my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 where every important feature works perfectly but you may see that the top and bottom graphic banners are stretched horizontally.

Droid users now have Natalie's vast wine knowledge and experience at our fingertips! If you love wine but aren't a connoisseur or sommelier then Natalie's wine app is all you need to make the right pairing choices every time regardless of the occasion, food or wine you choose. :)
