Dear respected community of android sages,

I was hoping to tap into your collective wisdom regarding a most vexing problem I am facing in light of all the impending releases of these spectacular phones.

If I buy the new galaxy or htc holiday how likely is it that the manufacturer will upgrade the OS to ice cream sandwich? If such an update is possible then how does a post-OS update galaxy or htc holiday compare to the nexus prime?
What am I missing out on if I purchase the holiday or galaxy and skip put on the chance to grab the prime, even if the former two devices are updated to the ice cream ?

Lastly will these three phones be the best as we enter the holiday season? Which one is the best and why?

    Thanks,

    Novice

By the time the Prime gets here they will already be rumors of something better. You need to buy what is here today and enjoy it till the next device is introduced. If not you will be waiting for ever.

Get the SG2 now, you will not regret it!

I think as far as the phone update cycles go, the SII is in a good spot.

Since the Prime's specs aren't even really known yet its a little hard to say which will be better.
