I paid for Documents to Go 01/21/2011. What was delivered to my phone was v 2.003 from 2009? They are not answering emails, and it seems I am not alone in this. DO NOT WASTE ANY MONEY WITH DATAVIZ.
I have. I received an email that links me to the, get this...free version. When I "activate" this, it tells me I have installed; Product Description: Documents To Go Free Viewer Edition for Android Chinese Channel, version 2.005 Chinese Channel? 2.005 - current free one is 3.001. Silly, huh?
I see a Market comment saying user couldn't update because they have a modded OS. Could this be a player in your case? I've got current version on all of my devices. One is rooted, all are running stock roms.
I am stock. Yes, downloaded trial first and got an email with a link. It doesn't install through the market - you have to check Unknown Sources, then open the url...Which of course didn't parse correctly in the email. .apk was left off and had to be added manually. Open it, register and then add my key. Bad juju all the way around. And I don't want to see someone else hurt for $15.
I got mine completely thru the market. I upgraded to the Premium version from the trial to get a key and then downloaded the premium thru the market as well.
